This is the intersection going to her house. I spent many nights in her tiny apartment. It’s probably smaller than my room in Manila but I love it. I wanted to go on exchange because I wanted to see the world. I wanted to touch deserts and see how it meets the open sky. Going to Indonesia wasn’t what I planned but it’s incredible because I dreamt of seeing this scene a million times over in my head and I can’t believe I actually saw it.
It was as if the place knew that I saw it a thousand times before and that it was just as excited to come face to face with me.
